Alyson brings a deep knowledge of all areas of non-profit management to the table. She is experienced in areas as diverse (and central to a non-profit organization) as media relations, advocacy, and government relations. She is an excellent manager, who motivates her team, and works successfully towards organizational development. Alyson’s career (both at the LSA and in her previous positions) has exemplified a commitment to the principles of diversity, equity, inclusion and justice. She has collaborated with a wide range of historically marginalized communities to ensure their full participation in the society’s activities, and she is a tireless advocate for promoting these values at all levels of the organization.
